Claire's talking to the trash.

Alex: Can I – are you going somewhere, Mommy?
Mommy: Yeah. I'm going to work.
Alex: Can – can I give you a hug and a kiss?

(Alex is admiring Sabrina’s frog toy.)
Alex: When I was a cat, can I play with that frog?
Daddy: Yeah, when you’re a cat, you can play with it.
Alex: But I'm not a cat today, but Sabrina’s a cat, but, Bradley’s a cat.

(Alex has been singing – mostly gibberish.)
Alex: I sing good songs.
Daddy: Yeah, I like it.
Alex: There's no more songs in that song.

(Alex is sitting in Daddy’s lap while Daddy puts Alex’s shoes on.)
Alex: Hurry up, Daddy. Hurry up because poop’s getting in your lap.

(snack time)
Claire: Trash. Trash. Trash.
Alex: Claire’s talking to the trash.
(Alex laughs.)
Daddy: What's she saying to the trash?
Alex: “Trash. Come out here and eat snack!”
(Alex laughs.)

Alex: If you – when you have too many stairs, you get to the top, of a different stair.

(dinner time)

Alex: Onion and bunion.
(Alex laughs.)
Alex: Onion and bunion.
(Alex laughs.)

(Alex is squinting.)
Alex: Look at me. I'm smiling. I'm smiling and you can't even see me. Because it’s time –
(Alex laughs.)
Alex: I was talking like a frog.

Alex: If you had two million dollars and you had a hair in it, and I could have horses in mine, (mumble) (mumble) pasta?

(Alex asks for more pasta.)
Mommy: That's all we have.
Alex: If that's all the food we have, then we have to get some more from the grocery store.

Alex: Daddy, I read my book on the potty all by myself!
Daddy: Oh good! I like that!
Alex: I was waiting for some pee-pee.

Alex: Can I go play with Claire and then we put my PJs on.
