(Claire and Alex are sitting side by side on the sofa, watching Busytown. During the show, for no apparent reason, Claire turns and looks at Alex for a moment. Then she leans over and gently kisses him on the cheek.)
(Alex absentmindedly wipes his face, his eyes still fixed on the screen.)
(Claire gently kisses him again.)
(Alex again wipes it off.)
(Claire gently kisses him again.)
(Alex again wipes it off.)
Claire: Why are you, keep -- um -- wiping your kisses away, Alex?
Alex: I just want to.
Claire: But I'm -- make -- keeping -- you smile.
