Daddy: Yeah.
Alex: I can’t play because I’m sick.
(Alex lies down on the couch.)
Alex: If people wanna sit on this couch, I’ll tell them that I’m sick.
Daddy: Okay.
Alex: And I can’t get up.
Daddy: Okay.
Alex: When my cousins wake up.
(Claire is playing blocks.)
Claire: I found a blue square!
Claire (to Daddy): Uh make a road, with me? Uh make a road? Uh make a road, with me?

Claire: Dat chair under there?
Daddy: Oh, that chair’s broken, isn’t it?
Claire: Get some – tape.
Claire: Uh play cupcakes, Daddy.
Alex: When the wave got me, it made the sand gooey. I made footprints in the gooey sand.
(Alex takes a warm shower outside the beach house.)
Alex: This is the best shower ever.
Alex: I like to sleep with Elly on the bottom and Bobo on the top.
