No more monkey jump on bed...! Doctor said...! No more uh jump on bed...!

Alex: That's the deal.

(Alex is playing with trains on the coffee table.)
Alex: Daddy, I don't know how, I'm gonna take long to do this. Um, play trains on the table, because the other cars, and that train is not driving. So, these two little trains and Ernie and Bert are staying here, and, these two little trains are driving but those ones are not trying to do anything, they’re just standing there and (mumble). He got some money to (mumble) James to remind the mud because he still has mud on him. (Mumble.) I can't get muddy because my feet are just walkin’, but this is (mumble). There's mud a little bit of mud so, that's what (inaudible).

(Daddy, Claire, and Alex are entering the garage.)
Claire: Bird is?
Daddy: Oh, there's no bird in here anymore, Claire.
Alex: Daddy showed him how to get out.

Alex: I'm gonna be happy at school today.

Alex: There's mulch in my shoe.

(Daddy and Alex are driving to the store.)

Alex: If we go far away, how are we gonna get home, Daddy?

(Alex sees a convertible.)
Alex: He doesn't have any roof, Daddy.
Daddy: Yeah? Yeah!
Alex: It’s just a race car.
Daddy: Yeah.
Alex: It’s just like I have, Kevin at home. It’s just like Kevin.

Alex: I saw a motorcycle. And that pile of dirt. And that dumper and the other dumper. They're all diggers and dumpers. They dig up all the dirt.

Alex: Pink trees that way, just like the pink windows.

Alex: That's a big tree I saw.
Daddy: Yeah?
Alex: Yeah. And more pink trees.

(In the playroom, Claire and Alex are jumping off the mattress.)

(Claire stands on the mattress and shakes her finger scoldingly.)
Claire: No more monkey jump on bed...! Doctor said...! No more uh jump on bed...!

Claire: Doctor said... No more monk jump on bed... !

(This goes on for quite a while.)

(Alex walks into the hallway.)
Alex (calling out to no one in particular): Does no one know when Luigi’s open?

(Alex puts on a new pair of PJs with stars on the pants and a turtle on the shirt.)

Alex: Stars!
Daddy: Yeah, you have a LOT of stars!
(Alex freezes.)
Alex: I'm standing like a star!

(Alex puts on the PJ shirt.)
Alex (crawling on the floor): I'm a turtle!

(Alex is playing with his trains.)
Alex: I can't believe this.
Daddy: What can't you believe?
Alex: No, they're just talkin’. The trains.
