Going in another small world!

Claire: The lady, she said, “Hi, princess!”

(after riding the tea cups, which Claire requested)
Claire: But can’t we do it again? I love this ride.

(after driving cars on the race track)

Alex: I drived really fast, and tried to win.
Daddy: Yeah!
Alex: I turned, and took the right speed, and tried not to scratch. I was a good racer, Daddy.

Claire: I just sat in a car, and I sat where the wheel is, and I drived the car.

(during Country Bear Jamboree)
Alex: Daddy, can you not ask me if I liked it?
Daddy: Okay.
(Pause.)
Alex: Yeah, now I want you to.
Daddy: Okay.

(after the show)
Alex (without being asked): I liked it!

Claire: There’s Buzz Lightyear!
Alex: It’s our secret mission!

Alex: There’s Buzz!! There’s Buzz!! I see him!! And he moved!!

Alex: Are we gonna see Buzz’s bad dad?

(in the tree house)

Alex: It’s a pulley, like we saw in Sid the Science Kid!

Alex: Can we really build a tree house in our yard, Daddy?
Daddy: Well, we don’t have a tree that’s big enough. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tree that’s that big, except the one in the other park.
Alex: Well, how ‘bout we take it home, in a truck?

(Someone has a tee shirt with M&Ms pictured on it.)
Claire: Daddy, you can’t eat those on the back of his shirt.

Claire: Alex, these knees feel better. Look at them.

(going on a jungle safari ride)

Alex: Are we gonna go in the jungle?

Alex: We’re gonna go on a safari!

(going through a tunnel)
Alex: It’s okay, Claire, it’s just pretend.

(At lunch, Claire sees Disney characters coming through the restaurant.)

Claire (excitedly): Daddy! It’s P— P— Pooh and Tigger!

Claire: And look! That's what I have! Piglet!

(Claire is drawing a picture of popcorn with a pencil.)
Claire: Mommy, I don't have any yellow, so I'm gonna use this color.

Claire (after seeing Eeyore): He has a bow on his tail, he has a button on it.

Claire: I wanna be purple, I wanna be a purple sprinkle, so I can eat myself!

(Claire is watching some fireworks.)
Claire (referring to the fireworks): Did it get on my Piglet?

Claire: Mommy! A big waterfall!

Claire: Daddy, did you see the big waterfall?

Alex: Look at the ice cream hanging!

Claire: The big crane!

(Claire is very upset about her ride on the carousel.)
Claire (crying): I want the purple face horse!

(On the second attempt, Claire gets the horse she wanted.)
Claire (happy): This is the horse I wanted to ride.

(after the merry-go-round)
Claire: That one was a pretty one, I like it.
Daddy: Yeah, I love it.
Claire: I like her, and she likes me, and I like her.

Claire: I like the small world, ‘cause it has all the pretty stuff.

(waiting in line for It’s A Small World)

Claire: But Daddy, it’s a too big line!

Daddy (kidding, because he knows this is Claire’s favorite ride): I don't like It’s A Small World, I don't wanna ride it.
Claire: I like it because it’s fun!

Claire: Because I like this one! And I love it!

(riding It’s A Small World)

Claire: There’s – there’s no person talking, Mommy, I forgot.
Claire: Look at those persons, reading books!

Claire: Look at the persons! Look! That’s funny, she’s spinning around and ‘round on one foot!
Mommy: They’re ice skating.

Alex: Somebody on his hands, and he – and they were upside-down, and they went around and ‘round.
Daddy: Yeah.
Claire: He’s riding on – we’re going in another small world! It’s a jungle!
Claire: Look at her!
Claire: Wowww.
Claire: Look at those giraffes and the elephant!
Mommy: And a pink camel.

Daddy: Birdies.

Mommy: Look, there’s a cactus over there, playing the guitar.
Alex: Yeah.
Claire: But Mommy, look, waterfalls!
Mommy: Yeah.
Claire: We’re going – through –
Mommy: Alligator over there.
Claire: Where? Oh, yeah!
Claire: But he’s not a real one. The alligator’s not a real one.
Alex: A tiger.
Daddy: Yeah!
Claire: Look a waterfall and a waterfall. There’s birdies in the waterfall and there’s another birdie!
Alex: Look, a (inaudible), and he’s inside of the waterfall.

Oh, yeah!
Alex: What are they doing?
Daddy: The cowboys? Duckies singing!

Alex: Are we going to the fort? Are we going to the fort? Are we going to the fort?

(at the fort)

Mommy: Oh, Claire.
Claire: Oh, me.

Alex: I'm sorry your back hurts, Daddy.

Alex: I shooted bad guys outta this house.

Alex: We’re going through a tunnel! I wonder where it will take us.

Claire: I'm not scared.

Alex: We made it!
Claire: See, it’s not scary, Alex.

Mommy: Where’s Claire?
Alex: She's in the fort. Can you guys go to the end of the tunnel and we’ll meet you there?

Claire: Alex, Mickey’s gonna stay up, because, he has to stay open, because, we have to give him... our, cards!!

Claire (to Mommy): Are you and Daddy not allergic to peanuts?

Claire: Mommy? I know the best thing that you shouldn't do with peanuts. You shouldn't look at them.

Alex: And here's the important thing: if somebody does not know, you get a grown-up.

(Mommy tells Alex about Aidan’s severe food allergies.)
Alex: I feel bad for him.

Alex: Mommy?
Mommy: Yeah?
Alex: Can I draw a picture for him?
Mommy: Yeah.

Claire: And Daddy, Minnie is my friend. ’Cause I like her, ’cause I like her pretty dress.

(in bed)
Claire (grinning happily): Daddy, Piglet, at the restaurant, was there, and I had my Piglet, and he came over to the table, and, he had Piglet, and they’re friends, ‘cause he was Piglet, and she was Piglet.
